Kitchen Makeover 1: From Cramped & Outdated to Spacious Family Living

Our first featured transformation was for a family who needed more space and a kitchen that worked better for their lifestyle. Their old kitchen felt small and dated, so we redesigned and extended the area into an open-plan layout.

The result was a bright, welcoming space with a large kitchen island and breakfast bar seating. A separate dining area and lounge were also incorporated, giving the family plenty of room to cook, eat, and relax together.

Kitchen Transformation 2: From Dark & Disconnected to the Heart of the Home

Our second kitchen renovation in Windlesham shows that you don’t always need an extension to achieve a remarkable transformation.

The original kitchen was tucked away in a darker corner of the property, far from the natural light that poured in through the glazed roof. The family wanted a complete redesign to create a bright, welcoming, and social hub at the heart of their home.

At Prestige Marble Ltd, we reconfigured the entire layout. By moving the kitchen into the centre of the space, we maximised the natural light and opened up beautiful garden views. This change also allowed for the installation of a spacious island with seating, carefully designed around the structural pillar.

The former kitchen space was cleverly repurposed as a cosy living area—perfect for a room with less sunlight. The result is a balanced, functional home where cooking, dining, and relaxing all come together seamlessly.

Kitchen Remodel 3: From Functional but Cluttered to Sleek and Effortless

This kitchen renovation in Surrey demonstrates that it’s possible to completely refresh your kitchen without extending or changing the overall layout.

The family approached Prestige Marble Ltd because their kitchen felt cramped and lacked sufficient worktop space. With several countertop appliances and a dining table creating a pinch point, gatherings often felt tight and uncomfortable.

Our new kitchen design introduced a sleek, modern look while ensuring the space is more practical and enjoyable to use. Key updates included replacing the old range cooker with eye-level ovens and a combi-microwave, freeing up valuable workspace.

A new Quooker tap was installed as the main sink tap, removing the need for a traditional kettle and keeping the worktops clear. While the dining table remained in place, a long bench seat was added, offering extra storage and improving the flow of the room.

Kitchen Renovation 4: From Under-Utilised to Maximised Country Views

At first glance, this kitchen in Henley-on-Thames appeared relatively functional and modern. However, the existing layout didn’t make the most of the space or the lifestyle of the family living there.

Without the need for extensions or structural changes, Prestige Marble Ltd created a fresh design that modernised the kitchen and maximised its potential. By rotating the island 90 degrees, we introduced a larger island and a bench seat with built-in drawer storage. This smart adjustment provided the casual seating space our clients were looking for.

One of the most striking features of this property is its stunning rural views. Previously, the hob was positioned against a wall, meaning the family often cooked with their backs to the scenery. By relocating the hob to the island, the family can now prepare meals while enjoying the breathtaking views they loved when purchasing the home.

Kitchen Renovation 7: From Awkward & Dark to Streamlined & Modern

This kitchen posed several challenges for a family of four. The long, narrow galley layout combined with an adjoining conservatory made the space feel cramped and disconnected.

To resolve this, Prestige Marble Ltd widened the opening between the kitchen and conservatory, creating a seamless flow and allowing more natural light to flood the area. The kitchen units were extended around the corner, transforming an underused area into valuable worktop space and storage.

The old, cramped dining table was replaced with a stylish breakfast bar seating area that wraps neatly under the large skylight. This not only maximises functionality but also gives the family a bright and modern space to enjoy together.
